Betting Rules

These Betting Rules explain how wagers are generally accepted, recorded, settled and reviewed at Casino Midas. They should be read together with the site’s Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Responsible Gambling information. By placing a bet, you confirm that you understand and accept the rules that apply to the relevant product, market or game.

Casino Midas operates under a Master Gaming Licence issued by the Curaçao Gaming Authority, reference number OGL/2024/494/0671, providing regulated oversight for player transactions and game fairness.

General betting rules

Casino Midas offers betting and gaming products subject to availability, applicable law and the rules displayed on the site. These rules are intended to provide a clear framework for placing and settling bets. Additional rules may appear on an individual game, event, market or promotion page. If a product-specific rule conflicts with a general rule, the product-specific rule will usually apply to that product.

You must have an active account and be legally permitted to use online gambling services in your location. You are responsible for ensuring that gambling is lawful where you are physically present. Account information must be accurate, complete and kept up to date. Casino Midas may request information to verify identity, age, location, payment activity or account ownership before allowing certain activity or processing a transaction.

Only one person may use an account, and you must not allow another person to place bets or access your account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for checking activity on your account. If you believe that your account has been accessed without permission, you should stop using it and follow the available account security or support process.

  • Bets must be placed through the approved betting interface and accepted by the system.
  • A bet is not final until it is confirmed and recorded in your account history.
  • You should review the stake, selection, odds, market, event and potential return before confirming a bet.
  • You must not place bets using funds that you do not own or are not authorised to use.
  • Attempts to manipulate, disrupt or misuse the betting service are not permitted.
  • Casino Midas may refuse, restrict, suspend or void activity where required by law, security procedures or these rules.

Acceptance and account records

The information shown in your account, including bet confirmations and transaction records, is the primary record of your activity. A bet may be unavailable, delayed or declined because of technical issues, market closure, incorrect information, risk controls or other operational reasons. A bet that has not been accepted by the system should not be treated as a confirmed wager.

You should retain your confirmation details and check your account history regularly. If you notice an error, an unfamiliar transaction or a discrepancy between a confirmation and your account history, raise the issue as soon as possible through the available support channel. Reviews may require information about the account, payment method, device or relevant bet.

Odds, stakes and bet types

Odds, prices, lines and other betting information are displayed for information before a bet is confirmed. They may change before acceptance. The odds or terms applying to a wager are those confirmed by the system when the bet is accepted, unless the bet is later adjusted or voided under the applicable rules. You should not rely on an earlier display if it is different from the confirmed bet details.

Available stake ranges, maximum returns, bet types and market rules may vary between products. Any minimum or maximum amount shown in the betting interface applies to the relevant transaction or market. A bet may be partially accepted where only part of the requested stake can be accepted, if this is clearly shown before confirmation or in the confirmation record.

Single and multiple bets

A single bet depends on the outcome of one selection or betting option. A multiple bet combines two or more selections, meaning that the result will generally depend on all included selections unless the applicable market rules say otherwise. The availability of combinations can depend on whether selections are related, incompatible or affected by a later change to an event.

Where selections in a multiple bet cannot be combined, the system may reject the combination, offer an alternative bet type or apply the displayed rules. If one selection is void, the remaining selections may be settled under the rules for that bet type. The result of a multiple bet can therefore differ from the result that would have applied if every selection had remained active.

Live and pre-event betting

Pre-event betting is placed before the relevant event or game begins. Live betting is placed while an event or game is in progress. Live information may be delayed, interrupted or temporarily unavailable. Prices can change quickly, and a live bet may remain pending until the current situation has been confirmed by the system.

If a live bet is accepted after a significant event has occurred but before that event is reflected in the displayed information, the bet may be reviewed under the relevant market rules. Bets affected by an obvious error, technical interruption or inaccurate live status may be corrected or voided where permitted.

Errors and unusual activity

An obvious error may include an incorrect price, market description, result, handicap, settlement figure or other material detail. If an obvious error is identified, Casino Midas may correct the affected bet, settle it using the correct information or void it, subject to applicable requirements. This may apply whether the error was noticed before or after settlement.

Bets placed through automated tools, coordinated misuse, unauthorised access, multiple accounts or other prohibited methods may be investigated. Activity may be suspended while a review is completed. Any action taken will be handled in accordance with the site’s Terms and Conditions and applicable law.

Results, settlement and cancellations

Bets are settled using official or otherwise reliable results and the rules shown for the relevant market. Settlement may not occur immediately after an event finishes because results can require verification. A result can be amended if the original information was incorrect, incomplete or later officially changed in accordance with the applicable rules.

The definition of a winning, losing, void or postponed bet can vary by product. For example, a market may refer to the result at the end of regular time, include extra time, or use another clearly stated measurement point. You should read the market description before placing a bet, particularly where an event may include additional periods, replays, abandoned stages or official reviews.

  • A winning bet is settled according to the confirmed odds or terms shown when it was accepted.
  • A losing bet does not qualify for a return under the relevant market rules.
  • A void bet is cancelled for settlement purposes and the applicable stake is generally returned, subject to any specific rule.
  • A postponed or abandoned event may remain open until the market rules determine whether it can be completed or settled.
  • If an event is cancelled, materially changed or not completed within the relevant period, the applicable rules may determine whether bets are void or remain valid.
  • Any settlement adjustment made after an official correction may change the balance shown in the account.

Cancellations and cash-out features

Once a bet has been accepted, it generally cannot be cancelled by the player unless a cancellation or cash-out feature is specifically offered and successfully completed. A request to cancel does not itself cancel a bet. If a cash-out option is available, it is not guaranteed to remain available and may be suspended, changed or declined because of market movement, delays, technical conditions or other operational reasons.

A cash-out transaction is complete only when the system confirms it. If the feature fails or is interrupted before confirmation, the original bet may remain active. The amount offered through cash-out can change rapidly and may not be available again after a market update.

Disputes and reviews

If you disagree with a result or settlement, check the market rules and your confirmation details first. You may then submit a clear review request through the available support process, including the relevant bet reference, date, market and reason for the request. Reviews are conducted using account records, system logs, market information and reliable result sources.

A review may take time where information must be obtained or an official result is pending. The outcome of a review may confirm the original settlement, correct an error or void the affected bet in accordance with the applicable rules. Nothing in this page limits any rights or complaint options available under applicable Australian law.

Responsible and fair betting

Betting should be treated as entertainment, not as a way to earn income or recover financial losses. Set a budget before you play and only use money you can afford to lose. Consider setting deposit, spending, loss or session limits where those tools are available. Take regular breaks and avoid betting when you are distressed, under the influence of alcohol or making decisions under pressure.

  • Never chase losses by increasing stakes or betting more frequently.
  • Do not borrow money or use essential household funds for gambling.
  • Keep gambling separate from bills, savings and other financial commitments.
  • Use available time-out, account restriction or self-exclusion tools if betting is becoming difficult to control.
  • Seek independent support if gambling is affecting your finances, relationships, work, study or wellbeing.
  • If you are concerned about another person’s gambling, encourage them to seek appropriate help.

Casino Midas may apply account, deposit, wagering or access controls as part of responsible gambling, legal compliance, customer protection or security processes. These controls may affect the availability of bets or transactions. You should read the Responsible Gambling information on the site for general guidance and available tools.

These Betting Rules may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to products, systems, legal requirements or operational practices. The version displayed on the site at the time of your activity will generally apply, unless a later correction or legal requirement states otherwise. If you continue to use the betting service after an update, you are responsible for reviewing the current rules.
